This hilarious and touching documentary tells the story of three older, gay “bears” working in Hollywood, who, tired of having their gay-themed ideas rejected by the mainstream, decide to self-produce their web series. Infused with humor and warmth, and best described as Golden Girls meets Murder, She Wrote, the series followed the misadventures of three endearing roommates and grew to become one of the most successful web series of all time. Through the tale of how this group of friends built their big hairy following, what unfolds is a story about the power of seeing yourself reflected on screen, a life-changing experience for both the creators and their audience.
